I would like to share what I experienced in my life-
In your B.Tech first year make sure in which field you have to go. Like as a CSE student sub-fields may be-
- AI or ML
- Web/App development
- Data Scientist
- Cyber Security
- IOT (Internet of things) and many more.
As as CSE student you should have good command on programming.
It does not matter you have CSE in class 11th and 12th.
Start learning programming from basics.
You can also learn programming online and their are many courses on youtube.

- Don’t depend on teachers for spoon feeding it’s your carrier you are now college student about to become engineer.
- Take responsibilities that make you strong and will also help in future.
- Do team work that will make you experience of how is work divided and done in companies.
- Improve your speaking skills (It will helps in future interviews).
- Maintain good CGPA in college.
- Make good friend circle. Discuss about your project and share you views.
“A friend in need is a friend indeed”
- Think any project in your field that no one has created. (Eg:-Like Mark Zuckerberg made Facebook that no one had done before). Think something different. Make strategies and work on your project will really help you a lot in future.
It will make you unique from others i.e You will have great expression in interview. - Any company wants those persons in their staff that can make profit to them and push forward there company… that guys those have productive mind…
- If you have really work hard and spend time you will definitely get success.
“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”
Bro it’s your 4 years “DO SOMETHING THAT NO ONE HAS DONE”. (Like:-Kalpit Veewal was the first one to bring 360/360 in jee mains)…That’s what i am trying to say.

Once you know the any one basic language then you can follow you passion. (Like:- Learn Python frameworks and more for AI/ML, Nodejs,PHP for Web develpoment etc.) Start your portfolio and make good resume.
Do something that will attract people towards you like bloging/youtube etc.
